How can I transfer inventory from one warehouse to another and handle the cost of the freight to move the product from one warehouse to another.  For example, let's say I have item XYZ in warehouse 1 and it costs $10 per unit.  I move it to warehouse 2 but it costs $2.50 per unit in freight to move it to warehouse 2.  How can I show the new cost for item XYZ in warehouse 2 as $12.50 per unit.  If I do a transfer it allows me to move the inventory from warehouse 1 to warehouse 2 but it does not let me include freight costs.  Our workaround has been for Warehouse 1 to sell the product to Warehouse 2 and Warehouse 2 receives it on a PO and then allocates the freight as a landed cost during receipt of goods.  The only challenge this approach entails is that we now have a huge amount of intra-company transactions that build up in the system because the invoices are never paid since warehouse 2 will not cut a check to pay the invoice from warehouse 1. Any ideas?
