I have a client who has just now brought to our attention that a large MC import that they need to run on a regular basis has taken considerably longer to process after moving to the new business framework. The files being imported usually contain somewhere around 2500 checks. I've done a comparison between the two systems, and while the import will take 2-3 minutes in version 4.05, the same file takes almost two hours to import in 4.50. I realize the new business framework processes the data a bit differently in 4.50 (using the business objects, etc), but 2 hours seems like a pretty large increase in time for this import. I'm wondering if we have any options as far as getting the time for the import closer to what it was in 4.05? For what it is worth - in 4.05 we had the source file formatted with separate lines for header/detail/distribution, and have continued to use this format in 4.50. I can run a test, but would the import be quicker if we used a file with all info on one line per check? Any ideas/help would be appreciated!!
