A customer using MAS 90 v4.4 has been having varied / intermittent errors which we were trying to diagnose (likely networking related). A number of things were tried (AV settings, Symantec Tamper protection...), following KB articles and posts here. A week ago the registry tweaks to turn off opportunistic locking were adjusted on the workstations and server. Reference: http://sagecity.na.sage.com/support_communities/sage100_erp/f/98/t/40301.aspx Since then, paperless journal PDF's are incomplete. The optional components like "Daily Sales Recap By Product Line" are missing. Looking in the Paperless folder, I find an extra CAT file: XYZ_SO_DailySalesReports_SO-000008_008.PDF XYZ_SO_DailySalesReports_SO-000008_008.PDF.cat Opening this file in a PDF reader shows one of the missing optional reports. Running a test, it seems these are created as .CAT files by design, and merged into the main PDF file as they are produced... but on this customer's system that has somehow been broken. We are trying to undo the settings but are having difficulties. Anyone have suggestions? The server hasn't been rebooted yet to get the server registry tweaks undone, but if that doesn't work I'm at a loss for what to try next. The journal PDF's are produced properly when running MAS from the server.
