I currently am on Netsuite, but I bought Sage 100 in September 2013 and have been working on getting the implementation going since. We are hoping to have things ready within the next month or so to go live. Our reseller is pretty busy right now after missing a week with Summit, so does not have time to work on this until next week sometime. We are working with Website Pipeline for our website and ERP integration. The main selling point of the system was that it would allow us to sell kits that could be configured, so this is a pretty important thing for us to get figured out. We sell Beekeeping supplies across the US. Our web sales are a major part of our business. We sell a lot of kits to beekeepers and wanted them to be able to make changes in the kits as they ordered them (give me the wooden frames instead of the plastic one, or give me black frames instead of white, etc). We figure shipping charges based on weight and then charge the customer while they are on the site. With WebsitePipeline, they cannot figure shipping on a kit that has multiple items or multiple quantities of an item as a bill option. We can only have one item with quantity of one in the bill of material option. To work around that, I thought we would be able to make our options that had multiple items into a kit and then put that kit with quantity 1 in the bill of material option. That works fine for the website calculating shipping weight and prices, but it does not work in Sage since that kit then becomes the inventory item and it does not affect inventory of the items that are in the kit. We want to use the kit as a "carrier" item and then explode in the sales order to the appropriate items. Is it possible to make a kit inside a BOM Option item explode?
