I saw this issue on a support Case today on a Sage 100 ERP Advanced installation. Make sure to repeat these steps on the pvxwin32.exe located on the Server as well as any client installations. I tracked the issue via Process Monitor as well, and it appears the failure occurs when it tries to use the XP Subsystem to display the .NET generated fonts.
