To be more clear, when you set up a Landed Cost in Sage 100, it will produce a transaction that is a DEBIT to inventory account for the amount of the product AND the freight amount you enter in the landed cost and then 2 credits the first credit being to A/P Accrual for the amount of the product only and then the second credit being for the amount of the freight only. This credit will take place in the G/L account you select in the Landed Cost Type Maintenance.
