Would like to upgrade Sage 100 Premium version 4.50 to Sage 2014 premium. Since you have to do a parallel migration, how does that work when it comes to the location of the SQL database. Can the 2014 install be on the same server as the 4.50 install and can the 2014 database be in the same SQL Server install as the 4.50 database? Upgrade guide talks about deleting the 2014 database, detaching the 4.50 database and copying the detached database to 2014 and attaching and then finally reattaching the 4.50 database, but it doesn't mention if all this can be done on the same install of sql server.
