Customer has a UDF in CI_Item, currently appearing on the Additional tab of Item Maintenance. They now want the same field to also show on a new custom tab of IM. I've done this in v2013, no problem... but they are upgrading to v2014 next week. When trying to add the field to the new tab in the v2014 system, I get this error: Field "UDF_XYZ" has already been placed on panel "PADDL" of this customized library. To Add this UDF to this panel, you must first remove it from panel "PADDL". This seems like a bug to me, but the error message is non-generic so perhaps not. Was the ability to have a UDF appear on more than one panel (for a customized screen) removed from v2014? I was able to duplicate the error on my test system, v5.1.4 (Standard).
