I'm new to using Sage, and in the process of connecting an application to Sage 100 ERP Premium to insert/retrieve data (predominantly items, orders, and customers). I haven't been able to find a clear answer, but what is (generally speaking) the best way to accomplish this? We use .NET/C# but are generally flexible in incorporating scripting languages. One source I communicated with was led to believe that BOI does not work with the premium edition, and another suggested inserting data by calling stored procedures via ODBC. I have access to code that uses SQL queries to get data and BOI to insert data that works with Sage 100 ERP Standard and Advanced editions, so it would be beneficial if that arrangement also works for the Premium edition.
