We had a version 4.40 install with two companies, and needed to migrate them to version 2013 (that is the most recent version supported by 3 rd party enhancements we need to use). Due to timing and business process issues, we had to migrate Company 1 immediately, but had to wait to migrate Company 2. We successfully migrated Company 1 to 2013, and are still using 4.40 for Company 2. Now I am preparing to migrate Company 2, and am wondering what the best/recommended way to do this is. I am thinking of creating a new/development install of the 2013 server on my own computer, migrating Company 2 to my development server, and later copying the 2013 version of Company 2 to the real/production server. The way I would do this is after migrating Company 2 to my development server, I create a Company 2 on the production server with the same Company Code and activating the same modules. Then I would delete the MAS90\MAS_CO2 folder in the production server and copy over the MAS90\MAS_CO2 from my development server to the production server. Does this make sense? Thanks for any help anyone can give me. -Ben
