I wanted to change a vendor name from "SMITH" TO "3SMITH" however I ended up deleting the original vendor name. How can I get this information back? What I did: Modules AP Utilities Delete and Change Vendors. (I used the first tab instead of the second tab). There were three invoices associated with the original vendor name. When I go to "Invoice History Inquiry" (modules AP Main Invoice History Inquiry), I can search these invoices and the vendor no. associated says "SMITH". However, I can not find this Vendor number in the Vendor Maintenance or Vendor inquiry. And I do not think we have any back up. If so, maybe years/months old. SO, any option except this one would be great. If I do nothing and create a new vendor name, what will it affect?
