Howdy, have a customer that has created a new balance sheet for entire year using jet reports. The issue is performance. The report is complex with adding debits and credits for each balance sheet account, for each period of the year. The report takes about 2 hours to generate. They are new on mas and the entire GL_Detail posting is only around 33 meg. (this is the only table) If we do a straight data dump using Jet Reports of the entire file it take about 10 seconds. Is anybody else using Jet Reports for financials and is performance adequate? using Crystal I think I have ruled out ODBC, Virus Checker...etc.
