Forum Post: Inventory business insights (2) explorer views broken?

I have a client who reports that the item view and item transactions view are suddenly not returning any data.  All other views in other modules plus the items quantities by Warehouse View work no problem. This is from ALL workstations so it is not workstation specific.   Tried uninstall and reinstall workstation anyway with no success. Reboot of the server did nothing. I note that the preview selection buttons to the left are non-functional as are all greyed out..   Checked other views with no data pulled up (set a filter to exclude everything) and this did not result in the same effect. Tried it with the ABC demo data and got the same issue,  so it does not appear to be data related.  Was going to rebuild key and sort files til I discovered this. Logged in as different users.  No difference. Therefore my conclusion is that the definition/control files for these views have somehow become corrupt.  Found the settings under BIExplorer folder.  Note that there are multiple files - one for each different setting that has been saved.   It seems unlikely that all of them could be corrupted?  Tried renaming the default view and note that it gets automatically recreated on my system.  Where it gets recreated from,  I can't say.  I'm not sure that this will fix the problem and I can't confirm on the client's system until Friday now. Any ideas where there might be some other files that are relied upon that may have been corrupted? Hoping to do this without having to do a reinstall which of course may or may not fix it.
