We have a salesman who earns two different commission rates, depending on what he's sold. We have his salesperson number set up with the most common rate, but it can be hit or miss if sales sold under the other rate actually register as such. My thought was to create another salesperson number and link it to his employee number. The original salesperson number is not linked to his employee number, but they are identical. What are the benefits/disadvantages to either? Thanks for any and all help.
