Forum Post: New Users - IMAP Email Questions?

Our company is new to Sage 100 ERP and we are looking into some email communication questions that have come up during the implementation.   We would like the user, when sending an email from Sage, to be presented with a “New Email” dialog.  Also, when emails are sent, the emails will be recorded in the “Sent Items” folder.   Some background: Sage Advanced 100 ERP 2013 (5.00.4.0) IMAP email from an internal server Outlook 2010 as user email client   1.     Are there settings that we can change within Sage that would allow it to create a new Outlook email and present the “New Email” dialog to the user?  This will allow the user to verify the email, add or change email addresses, and save the outgoing message to the “Sent Items” folder. 2.     Are there settings with in the IMAP server software that might help Sage with the emails?  i.e. - Save the outgoing message to the “Sent Items” folder and allow a Outlook “New Email” dialog. 3.     Having a number of years writing software - Is there a way, with a script, to capture all the data that will make up an outgoing email and create an Outlook object, on the client side from server side data?   Thank you for your help on these issues.
