Hi all. We are in the process of upgrading from v4.05 and SQL Server 2000 to Sage 2014 and using SQL Server 2008 R2. I'm trying to copy all of the tables in Sage 2014 into a new database on SQL Server 2008 using the "SQL Server Import and Export Wizard" on SQL Server 2008 using a DNS. I'm using as the data source: .Net Framework Data Provider for Odbc with a DNS. The DNS is looking at the Sage 2014 database directory (\\myserver\apps\Version5\MAS90). I then select a destination, which is the new database (SageMAS). I click next, and select "Copy data from one or more tables or views" and click Next. I then see all of the tables in Sage 2014 (all the names are in quotes), by default it enters the same table name in the destination column. When I click the "Edit Mappings..." button I get the error: Column information for the source and destination data could not be retrieved. "myTable" - [dbo.].[myTable]: - Index was outside the bounds of the array. Additional Information: Index was outside the bounds of the array. (Microsoft.DataTransformat ionService s.Controls ) The table has not been created, I want it to be created as part of the import. This is the way I used to do it in SQL Server 2000. Is this something new with Sage 2014 or SQL Server 2008? How do I go about copying all the tables in Sage 2014 (data and structures) into SQL Server 2008? Thank you in advance.
